The author is a practicing advocate at the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana, High Court and is an alumnus of the prestigious National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He has an age-old reputation for being hardworking, in as much as he graduated Law School with a feather in his cap by being adorned with a Gold Medal for the Best Student Advocate. The author specializes in Criminal law, a field wherein he has been practicing for more than 15 years now, and over the course of his many years of practice as an advocate he has had the opportunity to assist the Court in various matters of consequence, some of them being the famous M/s Tata Steele Case wherein the law pertaining to rights of victims in criminal trials was explored and expounded.
